A gender-neutral collection that explores architectural silhouettes, hand painted and dyed fabrics, digital prints and artisanal fabrications made primarily with natural fibres and deadstock fabrics.

Designed and pattern-drafted in CLO-3D, this look utilizes circular patternmaking techniques to build dynamic volume, organic floral forms, and a dramatic, sculptural silhouette.

An exploration of dramatic volume, historic silhouettes, and contrasting textures, this look pairs structured sequin tailoring with fluid, raw-edged silk ruffles and artisanal resist-dyed denim.

CONCEPT TO REALISATION
Obsidia began as an experimental digital collage series exploring architectural textures and dark, mineral-inspired silhouettes in response to the theme of Frankenstein.
This exploration expanded into a 7-look illustrated capsule collection, with Look 4 selected for full physical realisation and construction.

Founded by B. Star at the intersection of performance art and technical fashion design (FDS Sydney), B108 approaches garment engineering as a living meditation - balancing high-speed modern life with natural, tactile materiality.
